Responsibilities
• Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
• Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
• Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives, prepare interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
• Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/portal/social media/colleges etc
• Source and recruit candidates by using job portals, databases, social media etc
• Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
• Screen candidates resumes and job applications
• Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
• Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
• Negotiate job offers and compensation packages with candidates
• Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
• Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
• Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
• Prior experience working with startups is a plus, but not mandatory
• Prior experience working with healthcare/healthtech companies is a plus, but not mandatory
• Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, skill assessment etc)
• Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc)
• A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong decision-making skills
