The Business Controller is responsible for providing financial and operational support for the company’s global locations. This role is responsible for providing management support for all functional areas at these locations including but not limited to Accounting, Finance, HR, IT, Development, Sales and Production.
Responsibilities:
Provide Controller oversight for all functional areas at all global locations including but not limited to Accounting, Finance, HR, IT, Development, Sales and Production.
Be able to review business performance in all functional areas and track performance against defined goals
Be able to drive and implement business improvement in all functional areas
Be able to influence people in all business functional areas through content and developing win-win arguments and not by relying on position/power
As an example of controller tasks in accounting- be able to review Job Cost reports, monthly bookkeeping tasks, accounts receivable, government compliance, aging etc. to assure that business goals are being met.
As an example, of controller tasks in other than accounting areas – be able to identify areas requiring improvement and thereafter implement improvement actions and track performance in all functional areas to assure that business goals are being met.
Qualifications:
MBA (Accounting, Finance, Operations) along with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Strong understanding of Accounting, HR, IT, Procurement, Development, Sales and Production functions in a business organization
Experience in Customer communication with customers located in USA.
Experience in working with managers and team leaders and being able to influence change.Experience in Business Process Outsourcing company, preferably those servicing customers in USA in Data Management, Accounting and other domains similar to those serviced by ARDEM.
Skills Required
Should have strong data analysis and ability to interpret data and, implement corrective actions based on the root cause analysis
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is essential. Knowledge of Power BI, Project Management, Cost Accounting will be helpful.
Should be process oriented, and have demonstrated ability in designing process improvement / process redesign
Should have a solution focused mindset
Should be able to articulate issues and solutions orally and in writing
Should be willing to “roll up sleeves” and get the task completed
Proficient in English
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience
12-15 years of experience, with at least 5 + years in a similar role.
