We are looking for a seasoned Content Manager with a knack for overseeing content creation, curation, and management. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic planning, and leadership. As a Content Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our content resonates with our audience, aligns with our brand, and drives engagement and results.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Content Team: Set milestones, goals, tasks, and programming for various events.
Research & Outreach: Conduct in-depth research to identify content opportunities, topics, and target markets.
Content Calendar: Develop a functional content calendar to educate and maximize engagement.
Speaker & Expert Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process, explaining the content team’s process and schedule.
Event Programming: Develop webinar calendars and main day event programs for optimal audience retention.
Technical Support: Manage the technical team to ensure flawless presentations and event rehearsals.
Supervise Content Creation: Oversee researchers, copywriters, graphic designers, and programmers to ensure high-quality content.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone.
Content Strategy: Implement content strategies, standards, systems, and best practices.
Performance Metrics: Lead monthly reporting and oversee content performance, tracking engagement and feedback metrics.
Collaboration: Collaborate with specific volunteer committees during events and talks.
Spokesperson: Act as a spokesperson for industry events, webinars, groups, and communities.
Skills Required:
Deep understanding of market segmentation, current affairs, and brand communication.
A self-starter with an attentive and critical thinking mindset.
Mature, professional, and foresighted with a keen eye for detail.
Maintain a professional demeanor and presentable appearance at all times.
Degree in English, Communications/Journalism.
10+ years of content experience within a media company or creative brand/agency.
Strong knowledge of Office Suites and expertise in CMS systems.
Proficiency in the English language and expertise in content production.
Strong interpersonal skills, analytical reasoning, and attention to detail.
Expertise in research, planning, business, finance, and technical project management.
Conflict resolution, troubleshooting, time management, and scheduling skills.
